Carter to open Martin's Home Furniture Expansion
Carter will appear in Bloomington on Saturday, Aug 16th to open the newly expanded, 33,000 square foot showroom for Martin's Home Furniture. He'll sign autographs and pose for photos from 10am to 1pm at 501 Chancellor Drive, near the corner of Hershey Road and Eastland Drive, as Martin's unveils a showroom almost double its current facility.
"We felt bringing in fans from all over Central Illinois to meet Carter was a great way to introduce people to our store and our expanded selection," says Tom Martin, President of Martin's. "Carter is all about ecology, style and design, and Martin's quality brands and design assistance make us a perfect match for anyone interested in updating the look of their home."
F&W Landscaping and Bork Nursery in Onarga also contributed to bring Carter to Bloomington. Both companies teamed up to help co-sponsor Carter's visit, and also provide a comprehensive landscape plan that will surround the playground at the Stevenson Elementary School in Bloomington. Carter will assist in the completion and dedication of this school playground as part of his Carter's Kid's initiative.
