    Whole Foods Flavorfest

Carter will appear at Whole Foods Flavorfest, Chicago’s only all natural food and lifestyle festival, on August 23rd.  Whole Foods has eliminated plastic grocery bags from their stores, and are encouraging shoppers to use canvas bags in order to reduce wasting resources for paper bags.  To that end, at this event, Whole Foods will reveal a new limited edition reusable grocery bag designed by Carter.  (The bags will be available in January 2009. Check back here for details!)

Carter will be on the Lifestyle Stage at 3:30pm. He will have a 10-15 minute general talk about green building and green products, which will be followed by a 20-30 minute meet and greet.

The event offers a variety of entertainment geared to the Whole Foods Market lifestyle: a special children's area offers a variety of kids' games and entertainment; the music stage operates continuously throughout the event featuring ‘organic' acoustic music; and the Lifestyle Stage features a variety of activities.

Taste away, guilt free! There will be an array of food samples - everything from dairy to snack foods, meat to bread. Plus a ‘Whole Foods Market Pavilion' offers grilled meat, vegetables, and other delicious natural foods, and beer, wine and bottled water are available.

As Chicago's only all-natural food festival, FlavorFest celebrates the Whole Foods Market way: with delicious, natural food and drink, and opportunities to explore a healthy lifestyle.
