L.A. DJ Gets a Room Makeover
It’s Carter to the rescue when Los Angeles based R & B DJ Diana Steele of V100Music.com needed help renovating a multi-purpose room that she used as an office and her sons used as a playroom and entertainment center. Diana actually connected with “Carter Can” by answering an ad on Craigslist. Carter and his crew spent two days with Diana renovating the space and the reveal was an emotional experience for Diana. “The room is beautiful and couldn't have fit my style better,” comments Diana.
The fun thing about “Carter Can” is that homeowners participate in the building. After spending a day with Carter, Diana has become quite the handy woman. “Since the show I have purchased my own nail gun, which was a fun part of doing the show,” says Diana.
One side note: There is definitely a “DJ connection” in “Carter Can” because Carter and his crew also redesigned the bedroom of a young boy whose mother, Lily (who passed away from cancer), Diana worked with at KKBT "The Beat” some years back. Diana is also a good friend of Lily’s sister Joann Piloto, a DJ at “Power 106” in Los Angeles. It’s great that Carter and his crew can help people in such a way and even more wonderful when the connection between the guests is as close as this.
