Hi from the Wht. Mts.! You're one busy person for sure. We had to go digital so now I know what all the fuss is about. Do you come up with all the design plans yourself on Carter Can? I'm amazed with how much can be put into really small spaces with proper storage. I wish I knew what to do with my husbands home office, he's not very organized! It's our 20th anniv. today and he had to go to an important meeting five hours away. I'm hoping he'll make it back home before midnight tonight!
I'm trying to come up with some ideas for our 4-H group to help our community and also help the environment. A girlscout group collected old sneakers to be shredded for landscaping, etc., do you know anything about what business that might be? We didn't find out about the collection until it was over ( kids forgot to give me the flyer w/ the info.)! I need some inspiration! Thanks again, if you have any ideas let me know I'd appreciate it! Merry -

Good Afternoon...I need some advice. I purchased a great house last summer and have been doing little things. My biggest challenge is my basement. It was flooded and so was refinished before I bought it. I'd love to really finish it into a great room for my teenage son and eventually take in a Foster child and put him/her in the vacated bedroom upstairs. I'm not sure what would be involved to make the basement safe, I worry about having only one exit in case of an emergency. The space would be awesome for a teenaged boy, it would be neat to make a rec room/bedroom for him but I have no clue how or where to start. Any advice would be helpful. Thank You! If I could get lucky enough, you could use my house for your show? -

Hi Carter,
I was wondering if you know of a plastic pipe substitute for pvc. I am constructing some children's toys and looking for a material that does not contain the toxins that pvc does. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -

g'day carter...i just wanted to cast a vote on your hair length! shorter looks fine and refined however, the longer, messy, carefree look is certainly an attention grabber and gives you kind of a 'bad-boy' look! love, love the longer hair for sure!!! cheers, lynnie -

Mr.O' House,
On an episode of Carter Can, with the Tower family, why did'nt you add a railing to the stairs? If those kids are anything like we were as kids ,its every man for himself, when going down to the basement . Did I see you at the corner of Burbank and De Sota,in April, here in L.A.?,If not you then your twin. -

Hello C.O.
Looks like you are very busy. I just wondered about my table issue w the mural, if i could get "kingergarten directions" on what i can do...Sand, paint the mural, then lacquer. And, being dining table, as Earth and environmentally safe as possible.
I appreciate it, whenever you get to my response.
Thanks so much.
Tiffany, and of course my twin too...Heather.
P.s.next maybe touch on the recycling issue i asked about. It bothers me everyday...that people don't recycle...but i understand, the convenience would drive more people too...like having the recycle bins in Bloomington/Normal.
Thanks C.O.....Take care. -

Hi Carter..I know you have such a busy schedule, but did you get a chance to catch any of the Olympics? I recently saw an aritcle that was talking about the beach volleyball players and that Kerri Walsh is from Hermosa Beach. Do you ever see her playing or do you ever play?
Have a great Labor Day weekend. Are you going to be spending it in Michigan? Hope you get to enjoy it with family and friends.
Take care, Lisa -

Hello,
Seems to me you don’t remember or did not receive my 2 respectful letters (sent early April 08 and 30th of July08), the first letter containing my music CD and the second letter included my picture with my name and my music website address printed on it. I am sure they arrived at your Hermosa address, because I got the receipts for my 2 donations which were sent along with my letters. Possibly that is the reason you avoided answering my posts which inquired about it. Honestly, my original trust on the handling of fan mail has decreased quite a bit. I know there are a lot of people involved in maintaining your career and I hope everyone's interest is respected equally.
It is unfortunate if you didn’t get them and yet, somehow, Anonymity seems desirable to a Girl like me at this time. Well…. I shall not sound like a nagging fan.
After all you did extend us the Privilege to post you messages; I understand that you have the unquestionable Right not to answer when you choose it to be so. Leaving a lot of things never clarified or checked on both sides of the message center, affecting our impressions of each other. Sometimes there are only monologues.
Thanks for your patience and good luck on Carter’s Kids. I sincerely believe in your foundation, hope to see all donations and volunteering put to good use soon. Anuradha Sharma Bye for now.

HELLO Carter....................from the Windy City.........
It was a pleasure meeting you at the Whole Foods/Flavor Fest in Chicago on Sat, 8/23/2008.
I am a HUGE fan of both your shows and respect your passion and hard work regarding environmental issues - the GREEN aspect of living life.
I admired the sense of calm in your personality and it is a compliment to your good looks. You were very kind and personable just like your shows reflect.
Thank you for signing the picture which I brought with me, it will be the best birthday present come September 15th.
I wanted to add to your comments about the earthquake you experienced in Los Angeles recently. I live in Bloomingdale, IL which is approximately 25 minutes west of O'Hare Airport. On 4/18/2008 at 5 something AM my bed was literally shaking with me in it - talk about a wake-up call and I was alone on top of it. It lasted less than a minute but it made the news with a 5.2 rating.
Anyway, I enjoyed your visit and look forward to another "someday" meeting in Chicago.
Take care...............................Susan

Hey Carter,
I'll be on vacation next week and thought I might try to get some stuff done around the house so I actually have a question for you. I have an old buffet that belonged to my parents. It is still in good shape so I'm not looking to refinish the wood but was wondering if there is a product out there that I could use to clean the years of grime off of it and make it look new again. I have the same problem with my kitchen cabinets. I just want to breathe new life into them. After 3 yrs it looks like the kitchen is close to being finished. They are going to measure the space for a new wall oven so I need to decide if I want a double oven or a Oven microwave combo. They should also be bringing the last part of our granite countertop. So If I can get the cabinets looking good that should just about take care of the kitchen. Then we can start thinking about the master bedroom and bath. Maybe I'll just leave that for you to do. lol. Any ideas you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Take care, hope everthing is ok. ly Annette
