Carter-A few years ago, I discovered this awesome material called Syndecrete. It was developed and marketed by an architect friend of mine way before the 'green' movement kicked in. It's made from recycled materials and is a surfacing material for counter tops, tiles, table tops, and even sinks. It's less than half the weight of concrete and is very beautiful yet durable. Google 'Syndecrete' if you don't already know about it, Carter. It'd be great if you featured a product like that on your show--sustainable AND made by a small, independant entrepreneur. I haven't actually used it yet but am considering it for my bathrooms' counter tops. Cheers.Robin

Hi Carter. I really enjoy your shows on HGTV and DIY. You have a special talent for explaining each task in thorough easy steps that makes me think even I can do it too. I love the use of green materials like cork flooring and bamboo flooring and countertops. (I plan to check on the durability of these materials, they seem so soft) In two years I will be building a house overlooking the straits off the Washington coast and am always looking for something. I would love to see something on solar power on a show. On a recent show you redid a kitchen for a women with a lifestyle change and the result really appealed to my sense of design. On one show you built a table out of a slab of walnut and inspired me to plan to build a table and benches out of driftwood. I also loved the stone slab tables for outdoors. I even loved your hottub dance on the episode where you remodeled a bedroom. But Carter, between you and me, I wouldn't go accepting an offer from Dancing With the Stars anyt

just wondering if there are ever any opportunities for people who live outside the LA area to be involved in Carter's show... I understand that lugging around tools (Colorado) could be a major pain and expense, but i'm in desperate need of some green help and advice. just wondering???

Wow! Isn't there another site you can refer them to so they can chat.... I must be confused. I thought this was your website where people could ask you something of importance. Based on what I have read so far(and what you have responded to)is you have a lot of female fans (and one disgruntled male fan) that think you are cute oh I'm sorry, Hot and that you are grateful to them. Very disappointed in the message center part of your website....Quickly losing interest fan....

Hi Carter, happy new year! I live in a suburb of Denver and I know you were here recently. I was wondering if you were planning on taping anymore shows here soon? Also, on a personal note, I'm a big dog lover and have 2 myself. I was wondering if you have any dogs? --Julie, Parker Colorado
