Hey Carter-just saw your response to ubrokit regarding grout in her bathroom tiles that kept coming out. I had the exact same problem when I added on to my kitchen and extended the tile floor, the grout didnt stay in no matter how many times I tried to regrout it so was anxious in your answer and-of course- you were correct! My carpenter-not the one who tiled- carefully removed all the tiles (as those tiles were discontinued) to find that the subfloor was NOT screwed in causing the floor to move and the grout to keep coming out! Really upset that someone who was recommended did inferior work! Thanks!

Hi Carter! I just watched your episode on August 22nd about the living room makeover. Please tell me how to make the floating shelves you made that wrapped around the wall for an 8 inch shelf and how to even starat the plywood wall treatment that your assistant made. I absolutly loved it. I would love to incorporated it not only in my home but a home that I am designing. Please give explicited directions on how to do so I can have my handyman build these for me. Love your show. I too live in Michigan and am going up to Traverse City in about 3 weeks for a wedding. You went to Central with a bunch of my friends. My one friend Karen knows you. Hey Carter! I read that in dallas at the turnkey boys & girls club that you made an appearance as did Jason Kidd...not sure if he was there but he is my cousin...small world huh? Wish i could meet you; so much id love to ask you about carpentry, remodeling etc. When young i aspired to own my own furniture shop where i would make everything myself...not sure where i got off that beaten path but my love for decorating is going strong and watching you helps keep that dream alive so...thanks for more than you know! Hi Carter! I was wondering what colors compliment blue walls? Im wanting to update my bathroom which currently is blue and im stuck...any different color suggestions besides blue? My bathroom is relatively small but i have a cool spa tub which is the largest piece in the room. I came to you, the best to find a solution. I love ya and your show.
